Mercer University has created their own international ministry organization called Mercer On Mission. Each year a team of students from Georgia Baptist University travels to Kampot City, Cambodia.
While providing rural and urban clinics, the students participate in every aspect of the health care process: Clinic set-up, patient intake, vital signs, clinic coordination, diagnosis/treatment, pharmacy distribution, and patient education. During these ten days of clinics the team attends to over fifteen hundred patients of all ages.
Mercer was pleased to gift the medical diagnostic equipment donated by Crafting Wellness to the medical volunteers from the Sonja Kill Memorial Hospital who assisted with each of the clinics.
