International Medical Relief helps qualified health care professionals and non-medical volunteers by coordinating the logistics for international dental, medical and surgical clinics for underserved, vulnerable communities and in disaster areas around the world.
In December of 2013, we had the privilege of donating medical diagnostic equipment to IMR’s medical relief team to Battambang, Cambodia. Volunteers provided acute medical, dental care, and surgical care, as well as taught rounds on surgical techniques at the hospital. IMR specialized in training local Prosthetists in lower limb replacement. They also took the time to train local medical and dental students during mobile clinics.
