RainCatcher provides affordable and sustainable water methods providing clean water for children in developing countries around the world. They began by targeting communities in Kenya and Uganda and have recently begun working with communities in Haiti and India. Rain Harvesting is a clean and effective way of collecting water, learn more here about how it’s done: http://raincatcher.org/rain-water-harvesting/.
In 2014, we, along with a few other sponsors, had the honor of supporting RainCatchers with funds allowing them to install a rainwater-harvesting tank at Runyinya Primary school in Mbarara, Uganda. This tank can collect 8,000 liters of water and is shared with the 350 students and 10 staff at the Runyinya Primary School daily.
