It was our honor to assist Middle Tennessee State University as they took their first medical relief team to Guatemala in 2013. Their team was based out of the village of Los Robles as they assisted the local community and nearby villages. That year, they assessed the situations in these villages and decided to make this medical mission an annual trip with the hope that they can make a lasting contribution to these communities.
Since then, MTSU has been back to Los Robles annually. They open a medical clinic in Los Robles for two weeks providing basic medical treatments and health care education to hundreds of Guatemalans.

“I wanted to thank you for your donation of stethoscopes and BP cuffs. It really helped us out having equipment that we didn’t have to share so that we could expedite the patient flow and best utilize our time there.”

“Thank you so much for providing us with the stethoscopes and blood pressure cuffs for our medical mission to Guatemala this summer. As a nursing student, having the equipment necessary to perform proper health assessments was such a great learning experience. This trip was a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn about another culture and their history. I truly appreciate the gift.”
